PLEASE SAY by Seychelloise-Australian artist Danielle Freakley is a social practice piece that invites guests and audiences to engage in Please Say way live in the Pavilion. In Please Say conversation you can ask anyone to say anything you want (but do they? They might edit it). They can also ask you to say anything they want (do you say it? Edit it?). Please Say allows scripting each other in the moment. It happens through empathetic exchange, cyranoid power shifting dynamics. It’s a cross-cultural and linguistic melting into and out of one another.
