In the garden, underground roots interconnect, mix and help each other. Passa Folhas emulates this idea in its multiple appeals to a network of different practices and knowledges. The intention here is also to investigate the passing of leaves as a performative act that uses leaves in Creole gardens to ward off evil spirits.
