Social Contracts: Choreographing Interactions
Album
Description
Spaces shape our behavior. Spaces are transformed by our use. The works gathered here for Social Contracts, attempt to illuminate how our environment shapes us, how spaces we inhabit choreograph relationships between and among strangers, couples and family, with the hope that we can find new ways to live together, better. Some works make visible our current isolation in what should be shared space. Some stage unexpected interactions and fragile social contracts. Some create a delicacy that forces us to navigate together.
