Submissions for feature films, short films, restored films and immersive projects to the 82nd Venice International Film Festival open on 3 February 2025.
SUBMISSIONS FOR FEATURE FILMS (≥ 60 minutes)

Submission fee:
€ 200 until 31 May
€ 250 from 1 June
SUBMISSIONS FOR SHORT FILMS (≤ 20 minutes)
Deadline: 31 May
Submission fee:
€ 80 until 30 April
€ 100 from 1 May
Film schools: € 250 for a maximum of 10 submissions
SUBMISSIONS FOR RESTORED FILMS
Deadline: 5 May
SUBMISSIONS FOR IMMERSIVE PROJECTS
Deadline: 8 May

€ 250 from 1 May
Only feature films, short films and restored films presented as world premieres, and immersive projects presented as world or international premieres, are eligible. All works must have been completed after 7 September 2024.
The parallel sections Settimana Internazionale della Critica (sicvenezia.it) and Giornate degli Autori (giornatedegliautori.com) independently handle their own selection process.
