Description
The current pandemic is treated as a new unpredictable condition of the city that one must consider when attempting to answer the question How will we live together? today, with the apparatus of architecture. The inverted tents and the set of video loops put into question this condition of post-urbanity; three of them show the scrolling protocols, three show the performed theatrical dialogues, while others give additional visual information. The Hall of Protocols refers to a constitution of two hypothetical protocols of Internet states—the state of the inverted tents and the state of mobile rooms—both giving form to current changes of everyday life, and both facing the movement of humans across abandoned cities and the countryside. Human mobility is thereby approached as a necessarily stable element for the years to come. A third protocol refers to a transformed social sphere hypothetically projected to a new social space named theater of normality. This takes the viewer into a different common sphere of the post-urban condition conceived as a public performance.

Proposal for a mobile state operated on the Internet via a set of protocols. The State of Mobile Rooms accepts people who deny their citizenship by necessity or by choice.

Desert Room 2 is a dialogue over the Meditations of Descartes. The interlocutors are presented by a real female human voice and a machinist one. The presented desert background announces the room of post-urban infrastructure. The new post-urban desert is investigated through the literature of legislation.
