Description
This world was created as an experiment, as the name suggests. I'm interested in the 'risk-free danger', a unique experience in VR, and I designed this space to be a world where one can directly experience this feeling.
The cube movements are controlled by the brightness of the video, so if you play a music video where color changes rhythmically, you can observe the lively moving cubes.
The idea of controlling the amount of extrusion with a video was inspired by a mechanism used in the world called 'Alter Sound Wave Club', created by my friend mikka-bouzu.
Even if you play a slowly moving video (e.g., Max Cooper - Waves), it's interesting to observe the smoothly moving cubes.
You can also freely control the amount of extrusion using a node-based programming tool called 'Graphilia', also created by my friend suzuki_i. Although programming knowledge is required, it's very fun. This world also has an aspect of a technical experiment. In world rendering, ray-traced ambient occlusion and shadows are used to create a depth perception.
