At San Camillo IRCCS hospital (Lido di Venezia) Guy Ben-Ary will examine the conceptual frameworks and methodologies that underpin his artistic practice with reference to major projects completed over the last decade (such as Bricolage and cellF ) focusing on Music for surrogate performer. His talk will be presented by Dr. Rita Barresi.
Ben-Ary creates artworks designed to problematise current and emergent biotechnologies’ influence on the shifting forces that govern and determine life, death and sentience and intelligence.
