Description
The Contact is an exhibition project set in the rooms of Spazio START in Venice, which tells the story of a possible alien landing on Earth, and its impact on humans in an imaginary future. Through paintings, photographs and installations, the exhibition invites the public to reflect on who the different really are, offering food for thought on the concept of diversity, an issue that has been troubling humanity for so long. In this imaginary future, mankind is pushed to realise that there are even more different beings in the cosmos than humans are to each other. In the first two rooms of the exhibition there are paintings by Bengali artists who explore the theme of diversity between men and UFOs through both abstract and figurative languages; in the last room there are works by Italian, Korean, Ukrainian and German artists who address the theme of the exhibition not only through their works, paintings, sculptures and installations, but also through their different nationalities. This visual journey thus invites us to reflect on the possibility of coexistence between different individuals, but all united by their belonging to planet Earth and the universe.
