Description
The exhibition gathers visitors around a table to examine collective, ground-up action in Singapore. The pavilion is informed by a daily feature of Singapore life – the environment of a hawker centre, which is a community dining room with a diverse and affordable range of cuisines. Envisioned as a convivial, accessible, and inclusive exhibition, to gather showcases sixteen built and speculative projects that represent the cross-sections of culture and society in Singapore. This presentation examines the role of citizens and impassioned architects in raising the quality of life and sharing unique stories of living together.
