Description
Designing spaces that encourage "living together" requires an understanding of historical, geographical, and cultural particularities. Aristotle axis in Thessaloniki, designed (1918–1921) by Ernest Hébrard, is an expression of European urban design adapted to regional aspects of cultural coexistence between locals and refugees. Today it emerges as an emblematic urban condenser, encompassing the entire social pyramid. It incorporates unique public spaces, encouraging political events, cultural activities, and informal contacts between residents and nomads. Two parallel exhibitions — Venice (a socio–visual part) and Thessaloniki (an analytical–historical part) — communicate through a digital interface
