The Open Shadows of Memory
Album
Description
The Open Shadows of Memory speaks to us of Mother Earth as a collection of the memories of humanity.
A place where the metaphors for the works of Ernest Dükü are a mirror allowing the viewer to face the questions of his articulated world.
Ananias Léki Dago walks his camera along African roads. His work tells of the forgetfulness and controversial aspirations of the new African generations.
Valérie Oka recounts the forgotten heroes of his land and the beauties of Africa, underscoring the images with hand-drawn strokes.
Tong Yanrunan uses his pictorial portraits that go beyond realism to unveil the memory of humanity without revealing feelings and social differences, thus leaving viewers free to meet their own ‘alter ego’.
