Benoît Lachambre - Improvisation
Description
Driven by a sensitivity to the deepest sensations, Benoît Lachambre, the founding artistic director and choreographer of Par B.L.eux, is undertaking an in situ improvisation at the Biennale Danza 2017.
By means of a “walked” dance, an ambulatory choreographic action, the choreographer underscores the transfers occurring between our internal and external environments. This performance, conceived as a body installation in movement, is intended for a very simple space, targeting its presences, passers-by, viewers and inhabitants. It summons them through historical traces, architectures magnified by their past and present aesthetic charge, inviting reflections on the relationship between the echoes of the body and environmental structures.
Through this improvisation, Lachambre invites us to rediscover the sensoriality of a site’s living connections, proposing to the audience and passers-by a choreographic approach to their environment. Benoît Lachambre will invite viewers to immerse themselves in a sensory world and question their sensorial perception of the space.
