Description

The duo formed by Noemi Dalla Vecchia and Matteo Vignali, known as VIDAVÈ, is ex aequo winner of the national competition for a new choreography. Together they perform Folklore Dynamics, a show between stories, proverbs, games, superstitions, and gestures of the various Italian folk traditions that take shape in movement. On stage, five performers rebel against a homogenizing voice, strong in their roots, costumes, and values that risk extinction.
Folklore Dynamics is an ode to memory, identity, to a collective feeling, and it fits into a line of research that sees the two dancers and choreographers engaged in a study on spoken language and its most intimate connection with the body.
