Marco Momi presents a new concerto for piano and orchestra entitled Kinderszenen. The reference to Schumann is a sort of vertiginous mise en abyme of Momi’s relationship not only with tradition but also with his instrument, the piano, in an unceasing, febrile exploration of the relationship between music and body, between sound and idea. The dialogue will offer an opportunity to explore recent aspects of the work of one of the most original and rigorous composers on the contemporary music scene.
