Selection announced for the 8 winning projects of the edition 2024-25

On the occasion of the 19^th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia (May 10^th – November 23^rd 2025), 8 projects have been selected for the edition of Biennale College Architettura 2024/25.

Over 200 students, graduate students and emerging practitioners under the age of 30 from 49 countries around the world have joined the call for participation.

The 8 finalists are:

2. Jia Wei Huang (Malaysia)
3. Caterina Miralles Tagliabue (Spain)
4. Agnes Thomasina Parker (England)
5. Lucia Rebolino (Italy)
6. Tanvi Khurmi (Canada), Rita Espinha Dos Santos Abreu Morais (Portugal)
7. Florian Kilian Jaritz (Germany), Franziska Gödicke (Germany)
8. Jaakko Julius Heikkilä (Finland), Emil Oscar Lyytikkä (Finland)

The eight projects will receive a grant of € 20,000 for the realization of the final work.

The works will be presented, out of competition, as part of the 19^th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective., curated by Carlo Ratti.

Biennale College is a project by La Biennale di Venezia. The goal of this endeavor is, among others, to expand opportunities for young emerging practitioners by sharing their work with a wider audience. Since 2012, La Biennale di Venezia has been supporting productions by emerging talents also in the Departments of Art, Cinema, Dance, Music, Theatre and the Historical Archive of Contemporary Arts.
