Saules Suns
Album
Description
Saules Suns. Upon entering the pavilion, one encounters an interweaving and entangling installation. The sensation of a frozen, suspended mood overlaps with a floating, bursting, and erupting one. The artist develops her own language of material facts. She bends metal into spirals, casts light into shadow and shape, and fluffs cotton into fuchsia purple blossoms. A playground for the eye emerges from materials and shapes entangling and opening up towards a sensation of blooming. The spectator becomes part of the multicentred landscape that seems to be organised around several Suns with overlapping peripheries where possible new forms can appear. Through awareness of detail and experience, the installation suggests the chance to extend with each encounter towards an all-over openness.
