Description

The 2024 recipient of the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement, Cristina Caprioli brings the show DEADLOCK to Italy for the first time. Defined by the choreographer as an essay on "repetition in series," DEADLOCK traces the steps of a ghost dancer. Lost between the real and the imagined world, the dancer, Louise Dahl, moves freely, her body multiplied on the screen, traveling through the two worlds as if depth, weight, and boundaries did not exist.

Dancing dance. Dancing it without limits of imagination. An exercise in creativity, an invitation to go beyond what we perceive as real and lose ourselves in the beauty of movement.
