Description

Have you ever thought about the characteristics that a space for thinking and dancing must have? According to Italian-Swedish choreographer Cristina Caprioli, Golden Lion of the Biennale Danza 2024, a space for thinking, but also for dancing, must be isolated, not overly illuminated, and inhabited by a uniform white noise. A show and installation together, flat haze reproduces this space inviting spectators to discover Cristina Caprioli's creative process. Words and movements emerge in the room like a light mist. Entering Caprioli's mind to understand her artistic practice, entering it to find a space for thinking and creating, to experience a new way of being together where writing, reading, reflecting, resting, and dancing intertwine.

Every hour a different choreography is performed, adding up to a series of nine imageries.
Audiences are free to stay for just one minute or all day long.
