The 64th International Festival of Contemporary Music (25 Sept. - 4 October 2020) includes 18 events featuring 28 new works, 15 of which are world premieres.
The 64th International Festival of Contemporary Music, directed by Ivan Fedele, ran from 25 September to 4 October 2020. This year too the training activities of the Biennale College - Musica were part of the festival’s programme: the project supported the production of 4 original works for solo instrument, live electronics and real-time video.
The Music department is directed by Ivan Fedele (Lecce, 1953), a composer whose opus currently counts over 175 works and includes compositions of every kind: orchestral pieces, works for the theatre, electro-acoustic and chamber music. In 2016 Fedele received the Prix International Arthur Honegger for his overall work as a composer.
