Founded in 2004, Kronoteatro finds its foundation in a real and solid alliance between generations, in the collaboration between a mature professional and young artists, according to a mutual exchange pact in which multi-year professionalism merging with energy, freshness, courage and innovative vision of the new generations is peculiar and innovative. Furthermore, other and different personalities from the arts and elsewhere rotate and aggregate around this particular creative and organizational core, reinforcing the intentions and the ability to "create" and promulgate culture spontaneously. The theater of Kronoteatro is masculine, and above all a theater where the body is the first instrument and the starting point; the place where human feeling is enclosed. Words flow from the body, molded and influenced by the body itself. Words become the appendix and extension of the body. But this is also a theater which represents the body as a material that could be shaped and stressed by the sound of distant voices, the witnesses of a past that has now become syncopated music, the incarnation of an ever more pressing present. For Kronoteatro the fusion of movement, image and word is the exact synthesis which permits to tell stories that start from afar, from myth, and that finally arrive to the present time, to us, through non-linear and undefined paths.
