A selection of works of different genres, lengths and targets. The section may include art-house and genre movies, experimental and artists’ films, TV series and crossover productions.

An advanced training workshop for the development and production of three micro-budget audio-visual works, open to teams of directors and producers from around the world.

A maximum of 30 world-premieres or international premieres of VR Immersive Stories/Experiences of any length and of any VR format.

Two tribute screenings for the Golden Lions of this year’s edition: Pedro Almodóvar and Julie Andrews.

Restored version of Tsai Ming-liang’s Bu San (Goodbye, Dragon Inn). Screenings: 3 September at 11 am and 3 pm, Teatro alle Tese-Venice. Live performance by Tsai Ming-liang at 12:30 and 4:30 pm.
